HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP 2021!

During half term some of our younger students attended our super SPOOOKY Halloween workshop! The children all came in their costumes and had a wonderful time learning some cool dance moves and some fun party games!

THE LONDON MARATHON 2021!

We are so proud of our student Charlie Hill who successfully auditioned for the Royal Ballet Junior Associates programme! She has been regularly attending ballet classes on this prestigious course and we are so proud of this INCREDIBLE achievment.

Mermaid Workshop 2021

We had the most FABULOUS time at our ‘Under The Sea Mermaid Workshop’ last week! Our students learnt fun dance routines, made AMAZING arts & crafts and played some enchanting party games! We even has a surprise visit from… ARIEL!!!  

My daughter has been attending the dance school for 4 years. It has been a great confidence boost for her along with gaining amazing results in her exams. The school have provided her with great opportunities to perform on stage/in theatre’s along with being part of their performance team entering into competitions. All the teachers are a great team and encourage the best out of all the children. My daughter loves attending the studios and continues to develop in all areas of dance. Penny is really loving her ballet class on Saturday mornings. We have found the delivery to be successful at keeping Penny’s attention and Miss Emily’s enthusiasm, passion for dance and encouragement to the students comes across strongly. Mum of Penny, aged 4.

I’m very impressed with the teaching quality on the online lessons and all of the extras you have implemented since taking over the school.

My daughter has been at the dance school for 5 years now and this will be her third year as part of the performance team. She has always had lovely teachers who make lessons fun as well as having high expectations of technique. She absolutely loves coming to dance and attends five days a week. They have put on amazing shows and attended numerous competitions all while ensuring the children are happy and enjoying themselves. Charlie also has singing lessons and attends musical theatre classes, all of which are helping to build confidence. The dance school feels like a family which we hope to be part of for years to come!

My daughter had her first taster class at DSPA in 2017.  Three years later she now participates in 13 classes a week, has private lessons and is a member of the performance team. She has been given so many amazing opportunities over the years and has made memories that she will never forget! The teachers are so committed and focus on bringing the best out of the children both in terms of their dance ability and their personal development. They care so much about them and go above and beyond to make sure that they not only reach their potential but also that they feel happy, safe and confident. The studios are my daughters second home and she absolutely loves every single lesson.

Dawson School of Performing Arts is an amazing dance school. It is nurturing, whilst still encouraging the children to aim high. My daughter has had some fantastic opportunities and her confidence both on and off the dance floor has grown so much. Cannot recommend this dance school enough!

My daughter has been attending DSPA for a few years now and thoroughly enjoys it. There is a great atmosphere of support and encouragement at the school and a wonderful balance of having fun whilst learning and making progress. The students are taken through exams and assessments without feeling undue pressure and are encouraged to reach their potential. The teachers are kind and an inspiration to the children they teach. My daughter has been dancing with this amazing team of teachers since she was 3 years old. They have nurtured my daughters love for dancing and have encouraged her to try new things. DSPA provide such a wide variety of classes and the teachers are so creative. She loves all the different opportunities that she has experienced. They have been extremely supportive during the challenges we have faced with COVID this year through providing online lessons. The main thing is that my daughter loves it and loves the teachers.
