We are a friendly, encouraging school who pride ourselves in nurturing and helping our students grow in confidence through teaching them the love of dance and musical theatre!

Our dedicated and talented faculty strive to help our students reach their potential in all genres of dance, taking internationally recognised ISTD examinations in Ballet, Tap and Modern each year, receiving brilliant results. Our Bi-annual show is held at the Orchard Theatre and is a fabulous occasion where our students get to do what they love and perform on stage along with performing in small showcases, prize giving’s and we also attend competitions with our performance team regularly.

Our timetable is jam packed with lessons catered to everyone. We are situated in Welling and have 5 large studios which are available to hire.

Our school is filled with happiness and enthusiasm and we are all very proud to be a part of it!

I have two daughters who dance at Dawson School Of Performing Arts, my eldest has danced for 8 yrs and my youngest started at our Twinkletoes and has danced with the school for 5 yrs. Dancing is their world and it’s all thanks to the dedicated, professional teachers who have taught them all their skills and technique that they know to date. Dawson School of Performing Arts isn’t just a dance school. It’s a dance family where every child is respected and also taught the love of dance and being part of a team. There is no teacher I wouldn’t be happy teaching my children and there is no other dance school I would want them to be part of. Miss Elin and her team are the best.

My daughter has been attending the dance school for 4 years. It has been a great confidence boost for her along with gaining amazing results in her exams. The school have provided her with great opportunities to perform on stage/in theatre’s along with being part of their performance team entering into competitions. My daughter had her first taster class at DSPA in 2017. Three years later she now participates in 13 classes a week, has private lessons and is a member of the performance team. She has been given so many amazing opportunities over the years and has made memories that she will never forget! The teachers are so committed and focus on bringing the best out of the children both in terms of their dance ability and their personal development. They care so much about them and go above and beyond to make sure that they not only reach their potential but also that they feel happy, safe and confident. The studios are my daughters second home and she absolutely loves every single lesson.

My daughter has been attending DSPA for a few years now and thoroughly enjoys it. There is a great atmosphere of support and encouragement at the school and a wonderful balance of having fun whilst learning and making progress. The students are taken through exams and assessments without feeling undue pressure and are encouraged to reach their potential. The teachers are kind and an inspiration to the children they teach. My daughter has been dancing with this amazing team of teachers since she was 3 years old. They have nurtured my daughters love for dancing and have encouraged her to try new things. DSPA provide such a wide variety of classes and the teachers are so creative. She loves all the different opportunities that she has experienced. They have been extremely supportive during the challenges we have faced with COVID this year through providing online lessons. The main thing is that my daughter loves it and loves the teachers.
