Refund Policy

  • We require all classes to be paid upfront before the date specified by Mis Elin each term.
  • If classes during the term are missed due to illness, holidays or any other commitments you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • If you have paid for a class out of term time or a holiday workshop and do not attend, you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Private lessons need to be paid upfront and we have a 48-hour cancellation policy so you will be charged for private lessons if you cancel after this unless it is due to illness.
  • If a class is missed due to a bank holiday, students will be able to attend the same class later in the week on a different day, so they do not miss out.
  • On the rare occasion that extreme weather conditions affect classes and we feel it is in the pupils’ interest to close, we will cancel classes and notify everyone via email and Facebook in the morning. If classes are missed due to weather conditions pupils can attend the same class at a different time or different date.
  • In the event that government guidelines and restrictions relating to the Covid-19 pandemic or any other health related crisis suspends physical attendance at the Studios, all available effort with be made to transition classes to virtual attendance via applications, such as but not limited to, Zoom. Fee’s for classes will remain outstanding and refunds will not be available. This is to ensure that classes can continue to operate during this challenging period and again once the restrictions are lifted and the school returns to normal scheduling.

My daughter had her first taster class at DSPA in 2017.  Three years later she now participates in 13 classes a week, has private lessons and is a member of the performance team. She has been given so many amazing opportunities over the years and has made memories that she will never forget! The teachers are so committed and focus on bringing the best out of the children both in terms of their dance ability and their personal development. They care so much about them and go above and beyond to make sure that they not only reach their potential but also that they feel happy, safe and confident. The studios are my daughters second home and she absolutely loves every single lesson.

The school have provided her with great opportunities to perform on stage/in theatre’s along with being part of their performance team entering into competitions. My daughter has been attending DSPA for a few years now and thoroughly enjoys it. There is a great atmosphere of support and encouragement at the school and a wonderful balance of having fun whilst learning and making progress. The students are taken through exams and assessments without feeling undue pressure and are encouraged to reach their potential. The teachers are kind and an inspiration to the children they teach. Penny is really loving her ballet class on Saturday mornings. We have found the delivery to be successful at keeping Penny’s attention and Miss Emily’s enthusiasm, passion for dance and encouragement to the students comes across strongly. Mum of Penny, aged 4.

My daughter has been dancing with this amazing team of teachers since she was 3 years old. They have nurtured my daughters love for dancing and have encouraged her to try new things. DSPA provide such a wide variety of classes and the teachers are so creative. She loves all the different opportunities that she has experienced. They have been extremely supportive during the challenges we have faced with COVID this year through providing online lessons. The main thing is that my daughter loves it and loves the teachers. Dawson School of Performing Arts is an amazing dance school. It is nurturing, whilst still encouraging the children to aim high. My daughter has had some fantastic opportunities and her confidence both on and off the dance floor has grown so much. Cannot recommend this dance school enough!

My daughter has been at the dance school for 5 years now and this will be her third year as part of the performance team. She has always had lovely teachers who make lessons fun as well as having high expectations of technique. She absolutely loves coming to dance and attends five days a week. They have put on amazing shows and attended numerous competitions all while ensuring the children are happy and enjoying themselves. Charlie also has singing lessons and attends musical theatre classes, all of which are helping to build confidence. The dance school feels like a family which we hope to be part of for years to come!
