Dawn – Receptionist

Our lovely Dawn is a very important part of our DSPA team. She is always there to help with all your queries and looks after all our lovely students!

Miss Rachel

Miss Rachel teaches Ballet. Miss Rachel trained at Elmhurst Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School. Miss Rachel is an inspiring Ballet teacher and instills beautiful technique and performance quality in our students.

Miss Jess

Miss Jess teaches a range of classes at DSPA. Miss Jess trained at London Studio centre. Miss Jess is a Musical Theatre Performer as well as being a wonderful teacher and has performed in many West End shows and Touring productions inducing 42nd Street, The Adam’s family and many more.

Classes for Age 12+ Years

For this age group we offer the following classes: Advanced Commercial Advanced Jazz Advanced Contemporary Advanced Musical Theatre Body Conditioning and Limbering Ballet (grades 4+ depending on age and experience) Tap (grades 4+ depending on age and experience) Modern (grades 4+ depending on age and experience) £27 per month for 1 class a week!

Classes for 9-11 YEARS

My daughter has been dancing with this amazing team of teachers since she was 3 years old. They have nurtured my daughters love for dancing and have encouraged her to try new things. DSPA provide such a wide variety of classes and the teachers are so creative. She loves all the different opportunities that she has experienced. They have been extremely supportive during the challenges we have faced with COVID this year through providing online lessons. The main thing is that my daughter loves it and loves the teachers. My daughter has been attending DSPA for a few years now and thoroughly enjoys it. There is a great atmosphere of support and encouragement at the school and a wonderful balance of having fun whilst learning and making progress. The students are taken through exams and assessments without feeling undue pressure and are encouraged to reach their potential. The teachers are kind and an inspiration to the children they teach. Most importantly my daughter loves going and dancing every week, staying fit and having fun! Mum of Jane, aged 8.

Dawson School of Performing Arts is an amazing dance school. It is nurturing, whilst still encouraging the children to aim high. My daughter has had some fantastic opportunities and her confidence both on and off the dance floor has grown so much. Cannot recommend this dance school enough!

Mum of Lola

I have two daughters who dance at Dawson School Of Performing Arts, my eldest has danced for 8 yrs and my youngest started at our Twinkletoes and has danced with the school for 5 yrs.

Dancing is their world and it’s all thanks to the dedicated, professional teachers who have taught them all their skills and technique that they know to date.
Dawson School of Performing Arts isn’t just a dance school. It’s a dance family where every child is respected and also taught the love of dance and being part of a team.
There is no teacher I wouldn’t be happy teaching my children and there is no other dance school I would want them to be part of.

My daughter has been at the dance school for 5 years now and this will be her third year as part of the performance team. She has always had lovely teachers who make lessons fun as well as having high expectations of technique. She absolutely loves coming to dance and attends five days a week. They have put on amazing shows and attended numerous competitions all while ensuring the children are happy and enjoying themselves. Charlie also has singing lessons and attends musical theatre classes, all of which are helping to build confidence. The dance school feels like a family which we hope to be part of for years to come!

Stephanie Hill

My daughter had her first taster class at DSPA in 2017.  Three years later she now participates in 13 classes a week, has private lessons and is a member of the performance team. She has been given so many amazing opportunities over the years and has made memories that she will never forget! The teachers are so committed and focus on bringing the best out of the children both in terms of their dance ability and their personal development. They care so much about them and go above and beyond to make sure that they not only reach their potential but also that they feel happy, safe and confident. The studios are my daughters second home and she absolutely loves every single lesson.
