A fabulous, fun, friendly and professional dance school. Dawson School of Performing Arts encourage the children to follow their dreams and dance like no-one’s watching! Would highly recommend to anyone my daughter absolutely loves it.
My daughter attends DSPA and to say she loves it is an understatement! Her dance teachers are all fantastic and everyone is so passionate about dance which then shows in the students. Could not recommend DSPA highly enough. Mum of Lauren aged 14.

Penny is really loving her ballet class on Saturday mornings. We have found the delivery to be successful at keeping Penny’s attention and Miss Emily’s enthusiasm, passion for dance and encouragement to the students comes across strongly. Mum of Penny, aged 4.
I cannot recommend this dance school highly enough. My daughter moved to this school 4 years ago and since then her confidence, technique and enjoyment have climbed from strength to strength. The teaching is exceptional, where teachers encourage and inspire the students and provide opportunities outside of the dance syllabus
My daughter has been dancing with this amazing team of teachers since she was 3 years old. They have nurtured my daughters love for dancing and have encouraged her to try new things. DSPA provide such a wide variety of classes and the teachers are so creative. She loves all the different opportunities that she has experienced. They have been extremely supportive during the challenges we have faced with COVID this year through providing online lessons. The main thing is that my daughter loves it and loves the teachers. My daughter has been attending DSPA for a few years now and thoroughly enjoys it. There is a great atmosphere of support and encouragement at the school and a wonderful balance of having fun whilst learning and making progress. The students are taken through exams and assessments without feeling undue pressure and are encouraged to reach their potential. The teachers are kind and an inspiration to the children they teach. Most importantly my daughter loves going and dancing every week, staying fit and having fun! Mum of Jane, aged 8.
I have two daughters who dance at Dawson School Of Performing Arts, my eldest has danced for 8 yrs and my youngest started at our Twinkletoes and has danced with the school for 5 yrs.
Dancing is their world and it’s all thanks to the dedicated, professional teachers who have taught them all their skills and technique that they know to date.
Dawson School of Performing Arts isn’t just a dance school. It’s a dance family where every child is respected and also taught the love of dance and being part of a team.
There is no teacher I wouldn’t be happy teaching my children and there is no other dance school I would want them to be part of.
Miss Elin and her team are the best.
My daughter has been at the dance school for 5 years now and this will be her third year as part of the performance team. She has always had lovely teachers who make lessons fun as well as having high expectations of technique. She absolutely loves coming to dance and attends five days a week. They have put on amazing shows and attended numerous competitions all while ensuring the children are happy and enjoying themselves. Charlie also has singing lessons and attends musical theatre classes, all of which are helping to build confidence. The dance school feels like a family which we hope to be part of for years to come!
Dawson School of Performing Arts is an amazing dance school. It is nurturing, whilst still encouraging the children to aim high. My daughter has had some fantastic opportunities and her confidence both on and off the dance floor has grown so much. Cannot recommend this dance school enough!
